Alan Parsons Project - Eye in The Sky

One night,Twenty Years ago I couldn't sleep. So I turned on my radio and heard this song It really made me feel good And I never never heard this song again till today.
This song really remind me to some old days. May be for You, too.

Eye in The Sky Lyric

Don't think sorry's easily said
Don't try turnin' tables instead
You've taken lots of chances before
But I ain't gonna give anymore
Don't ask me
That's how it goes
Cause part of me knows what you're thinkin'

Don't say words you're gonna regret
Don't let fire rush to your head
I've heard the accusation before
And I ain't gonna take any more
Believe me
The sun in your eyes
Made some of the lies worth believing

Chorus:
I am the eye in the sky
Looking at you
I can read your mind
I am the maker of rules
Dealing with fools
I can cheat you blind
And I don't need to see any more
To know that
I can read your mind, [looking at you]
I can read your mind,[looking at you]
I can read your mind [looking at you]
I can read your mind

Don't leave false illusion behind
Don't cry, I ain't changin' my mind
So find another fool like before
Cause I ain't gotta live anymore
Believin'
Some of the lies
While all of the signs are deceiving

Song Notes : "This was the most successful song the group ever had and was their only US Top-10 hit. It didn't fare as well in the UK, but then again, none of their songs did"

"This song is about being watched - by satellites, aircraft and cameras. It implies a future where we are constantly monitored and the government has taken away all our freedoms. It borrows heavily from the book 1984 and the concept of "Big Brother" created by George Orwell"

"Lead vocals were from Eric Woolfson, Parsons' main collaborator. He was Parsons' lyricist and manager"

"In some ways, this is an extension of The Alan Parsons Project's previous album The Turn of a Friendly Card, which deals with gambling. Woolfson spent a lot of time in casinos and was fascinated with the hidden cameras watching his every move"

"Parsons is a very successful sound engineer. He has worked on such albums as Abbey Road by the Beatles and Dark Side of the Moon by Pink Floyd"
